| Paul described this incredible experience as follows: "the Orcas were rounding up the mullet and also a few salmon, going back and forth along an 800 yard stretch of this river near the town centre. They did not seem stressed, although the fish did, hugging the quayside. Many people were lining the banks and phoning friends on mobiles to encourage them to come down ! The group comprised an adult male, female and young calf . Local fishermen reported a pod of as many as 30 killer whales four miles off the estuary mouth in the days prior to this extraordinary event." | ||||||||||||
