This bird is apparently an adult 'argenteus' Herring Gull but with distinct straw-yellow legs. The mantle colour was the same as adjacent 'argenteus' Herring Gulls. I would be interested to hear any comments on this bird. How common are Herring Gulls with yellow legs, and am I correct in my identification / interpretation?
