| This Eurasian Collared-Dove appeared this spring in Ontario at Hillman Marsh (April 28-29) and then at the Tip of Point Pelee (May 5-10). This is the fourth record for Ontario, but is a first for the Point Pelee Birding Area. © Alan Wormington |

| On August 9th a group of three juvenile Wood Storks appeared at Lighthouse Point, Pelee Island, Ontario, the first provincial occurrence since 1972. In total there are about 8 to 10 records for Ontario. As of August 18th the birds are still present, much to the delight of dozens if not hundreds of birders who have made the trip to Pelee Island to view them.© Alan Wormington |
