LISBON - LONESOME DOVE BED AND BREAKFAST

visit Lonesome Dove 10/4/03

Lonesome Dove Bed and Breakfast includes three guest rooms, all with private baths. Lonesome Dove was named for the lone Mourning Dove that walks the property and enjoys the bird feeder.

Our B&B is located in the country on three acres of land with a pond to canoe in and a stream that the birds and wildlife enjoy. Our guests delight in the wild birding available as well.

Relax at Lonesome Dove and watch the different varieties of birds such as Mourning Doves, Wood Thrush, Cardinals, GoldFinches, Tufted Titmouse, Swallows, Hawks, Mallards, Woodpeckers, Blue Jays and the Great Blue Heron that walks up and down the stream as he goes fishing for his breakfast. Be sure and let us know if you spot a new bird! A flash of red will thrill you when the male cardinal flies in for his snack.
