The Ring of Bells is a traditional village inn which lies at the very heart of the picturesque Devon hamlet of North Bovey. It has a fine and growing reputation for providing good beer, fine wines and excellent food, all presented in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
North Bovey is 20 miles west of Exeter on the edge of Dartmoor, and is surrounded by fabulous and varied landscapes. The village itself is set in the gentle rural beauty of the Devon countryside, but the more rugged grandeur of Dartmoor, within easy walking distance, dominates the skyline. | DAWLISH WARREN NR EXETER - LANGSTONE HOTEL

Located in Devon close to the county town of Exeter and the resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and set in 19 acres of woodland on the coast at Dawlish overlooking the golden sandy beaches of Dawlish Warren. The Langstone Cliff Hotel welcomed its first guests in the Spring of 1947, prior to that it was what the Victorians knew as a "Gentleman's Residence".
The wonderful situation of the Langstone Cliff Hotel overlooking the sea and red cliffs means you can almost taste the fresh air. There is a public footpath from the hotel grounds down to the magnificent sandy beach at Dawlish Warren. The mud flats provide vital feeding areas for internationally important populations of many waders and wildfowl, so the site is extremely popular with birdwatchers. A purpose-built hide overlooks the main high tide roost. The Exe Estuary, including Dawlish Warren, is a wetland of international importance under the RAMSAR Convention and a Special Protection Area under the EC Birds Directive for its wintering bird populations. Large numbers of wildfowl and waders congregate on the mud flats.
