Our chalet is a three hundred year old Savorarde barn and village house that once accommodated both people and cattle under the same roof. We believe that our renovation project has ensured the retention of the character of the building without the animals and provides an effective blend of original features and modern comforts. It has five double bedrooms, mostly en suite with a first floor lounge and dining area with a log fire, balcony and mountain views.
Set in the unspoilt village of Nancroix at 1460 metres, Chalet Myrtilles clings to the side of a classic hanging valley which opens in a mere two kms. into the breathtaking Vanoise National Park, a protected landscape of towering peaks, of glaciers and cascades.
A haven for reintroduced species such as lammergeiers, ibex and more recently, on the Italian side of the Park, wolves, the Vanoise is also home to chamoix, golden eagles deer, red squirrels and marmots.
From the windows of the chalet in the last three years; nesting golden eagles, nesting crag martins, nesting peregrines, a single wallcreeper in February probing the roof timbers immediately outside our window. During the periods of transhumance in spring and autumn from the many paths>that lead directly from the village; ring ouzels, nutcrackers, crested tits, alpine accentors, alpine choughs. Lammergeiers have chosen a nest site not two kms away for the second consecutive year.

| BRITTANY > GUILLIERS - GUILLIERS MORBIHAN B AND B
A character two bed room cottage to rent completely detached and in its own grounds surrounded on three sides by forest, at the end of a country lane, very secluded, with no through access. There are wild boar, rabbits and foxes in quantity in all the local forests, and dozens of varieties of birds including hawks. Swallows, house - martins and swifts can be seen buzzing around in the summer months.

Set in the quiet Hamlet of Couroussaine, in central Brittany, just two miles from the small village of Guilliers, with all amenities, three bars, a renowned restaurant, small shops, butchers, breadshop and fuel. Ten miles from Ploermel, our main shopping town with all types of shops and supermarkets. Twelve miles from the picturesque medieval town of Josselin, with its 16th century chateau, on the banks of the river Oust on the Nante Brest canal. In this market town (Saturday mornings) the visitor will find a good range of shops which cater for all normal requirements and tourist information office.

| HAUTE SAVOIE > LA CLUSAZ - CHALET LES CHOUETTES
Chalet "Les Chouettes" is a large wooden chalet built in the traditional Savoyard alpine style with a separate apartment comprising most of the lower level. It is situated 1.5 kilometres from the centre of La Clusaz, one of the few truly picturesque alpine villages in France. The chalet is situated in the chemin du Batieu a quiet cul de sac of mainly owner-occupied homes. Strict planning regulations ensure that the all the homes in the area are constructed in a traditional style.
From both the chalet and the apartment there are spectacular views of the col des Aravis, of the mountains of l’Etale and l’Aiguille and of the forest of the Beauregard plateau. A gentle piste verte leading to the village passes immediately in front of the chalet and provides access to and from the main ski lifts directly from the apartment. The area is also excellent for hiking, nature and birdwatching.

| PROVENCE > UZES - LES LAURIERS
Maison des Lauriers bed and breakfast has three floors above the ground level, as often in Provence village homes. The southern facade has been classed as a listed Historic Monument. Despite the passing years, the house has retained the original stone paving on the ground level, old stone vaults, and beautiful door and window openings.
In the classical village style, windows and doors line up above each other, creating harmonious facades on south and north. The large windows let in waves of light into the rooms and suites.
