| AGADIR, ATLAS KASBAH ECOLODGE
Atlas Kasbah ecolodge is the first guest house based on sustainable development in the Argan Biosphere Reserve, a Unesco World Heritage. This eco-friendly Riad is located in Agadir, in the South of Morocco, in the High Atlas Mountains and only 20 minutes from Agadir beach.
The lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in a Kasbah-fortress located in a magnificent landscape. Berber women prepare delicious traditional meals. There are also many recreational activities such as mountain-biking in remote Berber villages and the argan forest, guided hikes, a salt-treated swimming-pool, a hammam (a Moroccan steam bath) and serenity. Birders should see both Golden Eagle and Moussier's Redstart in and around the lodge.
Atlas Kasbah ecolodge offers exceptional spaciousness, surrounding nature and peace and quiet in the unique setting of a majestic fortress. The Agadir region has a wide variety of ecosystems from the coastline to the argan forest, from the Western High Atlas Mountains to the Anti Atlas ones, from the fortified city of Taroudant to the fishing villages.
There are 8 rooms and three 55 m² suites, all of which are bright, spacious and decorated in a traditional style, that combines Berber and European influences.
