Britain and Ireland - Ireland

Ireland offers spectacular seabirding and impressive passage migrants, whilst mild winters and abundant lakes, rivers and estuaries support large numbers of wintering waders and ducks. Along the west coast Storm Petrels, Manx Shearwaters and Puffins are abundant. Choughs are common on many of the sea cliffs. Roseate Terns nest in Wexford. Cape Clear and other headlands offer vagrants and rewarding seawatching with the possibility of large shearwaters.
