Sightings: Marmora's ( Balearic ) Warbler was seen very easily in mid June 05 in the Boquer Valley. I tried twice, once in late afternoon when I got on incredibly brief UTV. However, when I went up again early the following morning I saw several birds around and past the last tumble down wall in the valley, where the path starts to decend down to the sea, but only after the sun had come over the eastern(ish!!!) ridge. They seem to prefer the mini palm trees that grow here and increasingly commonly from about half way along the valley. Small family groups were sunning themselves at the top of these when the sun hit them.
