Location: Prickett's Fort, WV
Directions: Rail trail connector
Sightings: Walked the trail just from parking lot of the Fort to down along the river (about 3 miles). We saw the following:
1 pileated woodpecker (m)
10 cedar waxwings
3 towhees (1m/2f)
1 cardinal(f) with 3 young
2 wood thrushes (heard-same area)
2 chickadees
1 yellow warbler
5 ravens-3 young calling to parents-seen perched on old train bridge crossing river
3 barn swallows
1 rough winged swallow
