Located at the southern end of the Windward Islands, St Vincent rises steeply from the black sand beaches into the forested interior. Dominated by the volcanic peak of La Soufriere, one of the most active in the eastern Caribbean, St Vincent is home to two endemic species, the St Vincent Parrot and the Whistling Warbler. Both species can be easily seen along the Vermont Forest Trail.
