This is the Western Voice of Audubon for Monday,
February 6, 2012
The CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, and
2 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS continue in Hadley and another
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was reported in Hinsdale.
A EURASIAN WIGEON, an AMERICAN WIGEON, 3 NORTHERN
PINTAILS, 4 ICELAND GULLS, a GLAUCOUS GULL, and 3
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS were at Turners Falls
A CACKLING GOOSE was seen in Hadley and at the UMass
campus pond today. A GADWALL continues at the pond,
and a PEREGRINE FALCON was seen nearby.
Three FISH CROWS were in Northampton and two more were
in Greenfield.
Two LESSER SCAUPS, a GREATER SCAUP, and 7 AMERICAN
COOTS were in Cheshire.
A WINTER WREN was at Quabbin Park at the Quabbin
Reservoir, and an EASTERN SCREECH OWL was at Forest
Park in Springfield.
