This odd looking thrush appeared in a garden with Fieldfares and Redwings
today in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire - see
_http://hertfordshirebirding.blogspot.com/2012/02/odd-thrush.html_
(http://hertfordshirebirding.blogspot.com/2012/02/odd-thrush.html) for two images

I have pondered over the images for some considerable time and struggle to
come to a firm decision on it's identification. Is it just an odd-looking
female Common Blackbird or a variant Naumann's Thrush? What do others think?

Best wishes

Lee Evans
