Last night I was going over my shots of the Fork-tailed Flycatcher (taken 2/7/12) when I came across this photograph. It shows the bird's left fork is growing back. I remember the Snow Bunting at Palm Coast in 2010 stayed around until it's tail feathers grew back. It left once they had completely grown back. Most of the Fork-tail Flycatchers reported here don't stay as long as this bird has. This molting is probably the reason this bird has hung around so long?
