GABOers,

Today was the day I recognized that I've transitioned into a true birder.
I was driving south on Spring Street and I saw a huge bird fly on the top
of the power lines' pole. The first bird I thought of was a Turkey Vulture
(that how big it appeared). I pulled over on the side of the road causing
everyone to honk and drive around, but I had to see what it was.
It appeared to be a Hawk, so I took even longer to jump back in my car,
grabbed my camera, and snapped some shots.
I'm trying to figure out if it's a Sharp-shinned or Northern Harrier. How
do I determine between the two?

Happy Birding,
