To those interested. Elk River Park was opened this evening. I am not sure if it is permanently opened now. The sign posted last week said not open until March.

Right at 6:00 pm 2 American Woodcocks started calling and displaying. Easy viewing from the parking lot. They seem to fly in behind the Stormwater Management Pond and hang out there.

Also I had 5 Wilson Snipe fly up out of the marsh together and head north.
