Hi all
Over the past few days I have a flock of Pine Siskins that have been exponentially increasing in size. In with them today was a male and female American Goldfinch. These are the first goldfinch I have had at the feeder since October.

I received a note from a Parks Canada biologist who encountered a Western Screech Owl on the night of January 29th. While she was driving from Tofino to Ucluelet the owl struck her car. She stopped,
