I received a phone call a few minutes ago from Jon Dunn with word
that he, John Luther, and Steve Summers had found a male HOODED
WARBLER at Cerro Coso Community College in Ridgecrest. It was on the

The Heermann's Gull is back at Kissack Bay. East end near where the reservoir fills the inlet. Where the fish club puts the Xmas tree cages next to the limestone dike.

It is with mostly California Gulls and a few ringbills. The inlet also has multitudes of Clark's and Western Grebes

Butterbredt was almost migrant-free on Saturday. There was one each of HAMMOND'S, WESTERN, and GRAY FLYCATCHERS, a WESTERN TANAGER, and a few WILSON'S WARBLERS. I birded Galileo Hill (Silver Saddle) Wednesday afternoon 4/18 and Thursday morning 4/19. Nothing unexpected although I was surprised to see 1 White-faced Ibis and 2 male Yellow-headed Blackbirds on Wed.
