BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, February 16, 2009 - Belvide Fair WNW 3

A Barn Owl has been seen by fishermen at the west end over the last week also 2 Little Owl have returned to the nest box just south of the reserve. A drake Pintail was a new arrival. 4 Brambling were present with 3 at the Gazebo feeders and a male at the woodland feeders. The Gull roost was a frustrating affair with the 2 resident adult GBB  Gulls being a constant menace, harassing the gulls to regurgitate their food.
