BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, February 25, 2009 - Belvide Overcast W 3

Today saw the most impressive roost of the winter so far. At 5.03pm a larger pale juvenile Iceland Gull dropped in follwed by the 2nd winter bird from yesterday at 5.05pm. At 5.15pm another new juvenile Glaucous Gull flew in. This was a lighter and smaller bird than yesterday's bird and I would say is the Priorslee bird. To cap it all off a very smart 1st winter Caspian Gull was picked out. Also 2 Yellow-legged Gulls including an adult and 4th winter.
