BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, May 3, 2009 - Belvide Cloudy NW 4

A Black-necked Grebe (photo by Martyn Pitt) from the Scott hide was a new arrival. The drake Garganey was still at the west end also the immature drake Goldeneye and drake Wigeon were still present. 11 Dunlin flew thru this afternoon also 3 LRP and 3 Common Sandpiper were present. 15 singing Sedge Warbler and 11 singing Whitethroat were noted. A single Raven flew over this morning.
