BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, May 27, 2009 - Belvide Overcast SW 3-4 Red Necked Phalarope!!!

Belvide does it again today with a superb RED NECKED PHALAROPE that graced the north shore opposite the West End Hide. The bird seemed quiet bright, so was thought to be probably a female. This is the 9th record for Belvide and the first since a female on the 4th-5th May 1996.

1 Dunlin, 1 LRP, 1 Hobby and 15 Common Tern were the other birds of note today.
