A juvenile Ruff was a new arrival also Ringed Plover have increased to 22, 10 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Dunlin, 1 Green Sandpiper, 7 Common Sandpiper and 3 Snipe were also present. The WeBS count produced the first returning Pintail, 3 Wigeon, 117 Teal, 49 Shoveler, 50 Gadwall, 410 Mallard, 1 Goldeneye, 89 Tufted Duck, 6 Pochard, 1 Shelduck, 17 GC Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 282 Greylag Geese, 410 Canada Geese and 655 Coot. 2 Hobby were seen this morning also 13 Common Tern, 4 Swift, 1 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Lesser Whitethroat were noted.
