BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, May 31, 2006 - Belvide 31st May 2006 Fair NW 3

A walk through the Reservoir plantation this afternoon was rewarded with a well grown Tawny Owl chick high up in an Oak tree. This was a year tick for me and ment that I had seen five species of Owl for the first time at Belvide in a year. Other birds of note today were 2 Raven, 3 Common Tern and a drake Pochard was new in.
