BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, June 5, 2006 - Belvide 5th June 2006 Fair NE 1-2

2 new arrivals today with a female Ruff on the north shore and a drake Garganey again along the north shore. The Ruff being a Belvide year tick. Wildfowl counted were 44 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler and 3 Pochard. A pair of Yellowhammer are feeding young at the west end today. The little Owl was sat in his usual tree just south of the reservoir.
