BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, June 10, 2006 - Belvide 10th June 2006 Sunny warm ESE 3-4

A Little Tern flew thru to the east this morning which was most unexpected. The drake Garganey was still present along with an increase of 6 Teal, 9 Shoveler and 5 Pochard. Tufted Duck had also risen to 115. Another brood of 11 Gadwall appeared today. Sadly the 2nd pair of Oystercatchers that were nesting have lost their clutch of eggs overnight. A single Hobby was also seen this morning.
