BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, June 26, 2006 - Belvide 26th June 2006 Overcast NE 2

Bird of the day was a Marsh Tit in the reservoir plantation a new bird for the year. Also a pair of Spotted Flycatchers were feeding young. Little Ringed Plovers have increased to 8 there were also 2 Common Sandpiper 1 Green Sandpiper and a single Redshank.

6 LRP, 7 male Teal and 4 Common Tern

Hi Steve
Really enjoyed reading your blog. I too am a res addict - my drug of choice being Grafham Water!
You have got a load up on me this year - but I am missing loads of waders - we have had a very highwater spring. I am hoping for them to drop soon, so I can claw back things like Greenshank! (That is how bad it has been!)
