BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, June 30, 2006 - Belvide 30th June 2006 Cloudy SSE 2

A Hobby put in a brief appearance this afternoon. LRP's are down to 6 also 2 Green Sandpiper and 4 Common Sandpiper still. Another brood of 7 Tufted Ducks have appeared. There were 232 Lapwing and the Coot count is up to 513.

 

JUNE 29TH

LRP's have increased to 9 also Common Sandpiper are up to 5. The first Tufted Duck brood were seen with 5 chicks in tow. Sadly the young Tawny Owl in the reservoir plantation was picked up dead this evening.
