I tried my hardest today to get a picture of one of the 2 Lesser Emperors and had to settle for a poor record shot. The things never keep still. Also the adult and juv Black Necked Grebes performed well in the south east bay. I never made it to the west end so dont know what else was present. (Both photos by Ian Butlar)
