BELVIDE BIRDING

• Thursday, July 13, 2006 - Belvide 13th July 2006 Sunny N 3

The main highlight today was an adult Sandwich Tern that dropped in briefly at 1.35pm before flying off high north, this being a new addition to the Belvide year list. There was no sign of the Black Necked Grebe, it looks like they have gone to Blithfield. Also present were 1 Green Sand, 6 Common Sand 1 LRP, 1 Curlew, 6 Common Tern and a Marsh Tit. 2 male Lesser Emperors were again present from the south east bay view point. (picture by Ian Butlar.
