BELVIDE BIRDING

A juvenile Black Necked Grebe appeared again today, a duskier looking bird to the one in the week. Waders present were 1 Green Sand, 5 Common Sand, 9 LRP. Wildfowl counted were 76 Mallard, 51 Tufted Duck, 8 Teal, 13 GC Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 20 Gadwall, 700 Coot and 89 Mute Swan. There was also 3 Marsh Tit in the res plantation. A Lesser Emperor again showed along the southeast bay also several Banded Demoiselle including this female (photo)
