BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, July 17, 2006 - Belvide 17th July 2006 Sunny NNE 1

Just as I was leaving this evening I was greeted by a male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker on the woodland feeding station. The first time I have seen one on there. The Juv Black Necked Grebe was still present also 4 LRP, 7 Common Sand, 1 Oystercatcher, 11 Common Tern and 14 Teal. Tufted Duck broods stood at 8.7.6.4 and 1. The male Lesser Emperor and 7+ Red Veined Darter were also seen.
