BELVIDE BIRDING

2 juvenile Mediterranean Gulls (photo) were new today and part of a large influx of Black headed Gulls. The Lesser Spotted Woodpecker continues to show on the woodland feeding station. Our solitary pair of Common Terns have hatched at least 2 chicks today, the first breeding success for several years. Green Sandpipers have inreased to 3 also 5 Common Sand, 1 Redshank and 2 LRP were present. A single Hobby shot thru mid afternoon also an adult Peregrine was reported this morning. The Greylag flock continues to break records with 113 today.
