BELVIDE BIRDING

Todays wildfowl count produced, 2 Garganey, 72 Teal, 23 Shoveler, 433 Mallard, 38 Gadwall, 162 Tufted Duck, 16 Pochard, 3 Shelduck, 634 Coot, 73 Moorhen, 350 Canada Geese, 133 Greylag Geese, 94 Mute Swan, 43 GC Grebe and 15 Little Grebe. Waders present were 6 Greenshank, 4 Dunlin, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 LRP and 3 Common Sand.300 House Martin were sat on wires over the car park this morning until a Hobby went thru them, also an immature male Peregrine scattered everyting at the west end.The Lesser Spotted Woodpecker was seen a couple of times this morning. A late item of news was an adult Kittiwake that flew thru in the evening.
