BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - Belvide Overcast W1-2 Late update for Tuesday 15th.

Bird of the day was a Red Kite that circled the west end at 4.15pm before drifting off south.An adult Mediterranean Gull roosted, Greenshank are up to 9, 3 Black-tailed Godwit dropped in early evening also 2 Dunlin, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sand, 1 LRP and 1 Curlew. The drake Scaup was still present along with 3 Garganey and 67 Shoveler.145 Grelag geese were counted and the Lesser spotted Woodpecker and single Hobby were seen.
