BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, August 18, 2006 - Belvide Heavy Showery Rain Variable 1-2

Not much change today. 3 Garganey, Drake Scaup still, wigeon have increased to 7, 147 Greylags and 380 Canada Geese were counted. Waders seen were 7 Greenshank, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 LRP and 5 Common Sand.8 Sedge Warbler and 2 Garden Warbler were in the surrounding scrub. The two Common Tern chicks had a good fly around this morning. 1 Swift was still about this morning.
