A few new arrivals today with a juvenile Black-necked Grebe, 1 Whimbrel briefly early morning and 2 Redshank. Also 6 Ringed Plover, 3 LRP, 1 Dunlin and an increase of 7 Common Sand while Greenshank remain at 7 birds.The 3 Garganey and drake Scaup are still present also 7 Wigeon. 2 juvenile Yellow-legged Gulls were at the west end this morning and a Hobby had a few attacks at the hirrundines. The Water Rail remains in the Gazebo Bay. Late news included a Sanderling and an imm Peregrine.
