The juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper was present to around 9am when a pesky Peregrine put everything up and was not seen again. 7 Greenshank, 1 Ruff (briefly),7 Common Sand and a single LRP were present.The 3 Garganey, Black-necked Grebe, 4 Wigeon, 36 Shoveler, 1 Shelduck still. A Hobby caught a hirrundine this morning and was later seen mobbing the Peregrine.2 Water Rail and 3 Swift were seen and the ringing group caught a Lesser Whitethroat and a Garden Warbler (photos)
