The misty conditions seem to do the trick fetching down an adult Kittiwake (photo). It was present from 8.30-12.10pm when it flew off to the south west. Also the first 2 Little Stints of the autumn were at the west end along with a fly thru Sanderling, 2 Dunlin, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Golden Plover and 1 Common Sand.Another Sanderling was seen this evening.An immature Merlin was sat on the north shore this morning and an adult male was seen early evening also 2 Hobby and 2 Peregrine were seen.Wigeon have increased to 57 also Teal are up to 233 and 1 Pintail still.60 Meadow Pipit flew thru to the west over the day.
