BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, October 27, 2006 - Belvide Overcast SSW 2

243 Golden Plover and a single Dunlin remain at the west end. Also the pair of Stonechat are still present. Great Crested Grebe numbers continue to rise with 147 counted. Also an influx of 107 Pochard with the drake Ferruginous/Pochard hybrid still. A single Little Grebe was the first for a while and 16 Goldeneye were counted at dusk.
