BELVIDE BIRDING

A 1st winter Kittiwake (photo) was present between 1100-1140 when it flew off north west. A skywatch off the dam between 0645-0930 produced 2580 Wood Pigeon, 2 Brambling, 147 Redwing, 1 Fieldfare, 45 Skylark, 22 Greenfinch and 1 Redpoll. The Golden Plover flock has increased to 287 also a single Dunlin still. The pair of Stonechat remain on the north shore. A late Blackcap was below the dam and a single drake Pintail was infront of the Scott hide. 12 Goldcrest were counted along the southern boundry hedge.
