BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, December 10, 2006 - Belvide Rain S 3-4

Back to normality today with a 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull the highlight. Note in the photo the chunky black bill, the pale head with dark smudge around the eye. The grey feathers moulting thru on the mantle with dark anchour markings on the scapulars. Also the blackish brown tertials with pale tips. The only other birds of note were 11 Lesser Redpoll.
