BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, December 20, 2006 - Belvide Foggy then Overcast Variable 1

There was no sign of the Bewick's Swans when I arrived at 1pm, but at 2pm 4 birds flew in including 3 adults and a juvenile. They were present till 3.18pm when they flew out strongly in an east south east direction. Also present were 3 Pintail, 1 redhead Goosander and 5 Lesser Redpoll. Around 450 Starling roosted infront of the Scott hide and the gull roost had 800+ LBB Gull.
