BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, December 23, 2006 - Belvide Murky E 1

After Belvide being under a blanket of fog for the last 2 days it was nice to get out and do some birding, although it was very quiet. The pair of Stonechat were still at the west end. Several hundred Redwing and Fieldfare were still in the surrounding hedgerows and at least 30 Tree Sparrow were on the woodland feeding station. Also 12 House Sparrow were on the car park feeders. An adult Yellow-legged Gull was in the roost.
