| A male Merlin had a pop at the Starling roost this evening and was a new bird for the year. The gull roost held 6 Yellow-legged Gulls including 3 adults, 3rd winter and 2 1st winters. A single redhead Goosander was at the west end. The water level is very high at the moment and the highest I have seen it for several years. |

I use a Carl Zeiss Contax attached to Eagleeye Optics digiscope adapter thru a Kowa Prominar Scope (previously an Optolyth). I also use a CP4500 from time to time.
