BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, January 10, 2007 - Belvide Fair WNW 3-4

Very quiet again today. The gull roost was poor number wise with only 500 LBB Gull, 10 Herring Gull, 5 Yellow-legged Gull including 2 adults, 3rd winter and 2 1st winters. A single Goosander was at the west end and 61 Tufted Duck were counted.

A WORK PARTY WILL TAKE PLACE THIS SATURDAY. BETWEEN 09.30 AND 12.30PM. CLEARANCE OF ASH SCRUB IN THE SOUTH EAST BAY IS ON THE AGENDA. ANYONE WHO CAN SPARE A FEW HOURS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. GLOVES AND TOOLS PROVIDED.
