BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, January 13, 2007 - Belvide Overcast SW 3

First of all a big thankyou to the 13 volanteers who turned up for the work party this morning. It just prooves how much can be done if enough people turn up.

The main item of news was an OTTER that was reported by anglers at the west end at 8am.

Bird wise it remains very quiet. The pair of Stonechat were in the west marsh. The gull roost was poor with 2 Yellow-legged Gulls, 200+ LBB Gull and 1800 BH Gull. 2 Goosander were present and 13 Goldfinch were along the Gazebo bay with 6 Lesser Redpoll.
