BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, January 14, 2007 - Belvide Sunny W 2-3

A drake Mandarin was a new arrival and a bird I missed last year. A male Blackcap was seen again in the reservoir plantation. The gull roost held only 130 LBB Gull, 3 Yellow-legged Gull including 1 adult and 2 3rd winters and 1500 BH Gulls. The drake Ferruginous/Pochard hybrid was amongst 116 Pochard, and a single Goosander was at the west end.
