Today was without doubt the coldest day of the winter so far. With the cold northerly winds brought a much improved gull roost. A 1st winter Mediterranean Gull was a new bird for the year also 21 Common Gull (a good count) 2500 LBB Gull, 7 GBB Gull, 4 Yellow-legged Gulls, 1 probable adult Caspian Gull, 150 Herring Gull and 3500 BH Gull including the albino bird. The pair of Stonechat were in the west marsh and a single Snipe was a personel year tick.
