BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, March 4, 2007 - Belvide Heavy Rain S 5

The Little Egret reappeared today, it was sat in a field just south of the reserve between the Scott and Gazebo hides. 19 Shoveler was a noted increase and 54 Goldeneye were counted at dusk. 5 Lesser Redpoll were by the Bryant hide and 2 Red-legged Partridge at the woodland feeding station was unusual. 2 Water Rail and a Little Owl were seen this morning and 21 Pied Wagtail flying over south east late afternoon was worthy of note.
